By accessing and using Find My Kangaroo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Find My Kangaroo is a free, web-based tool that estimates the distance from a given location to the nearest known kangaroo habitat, zoo, or sanctuary. The Service is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only.

2. Use of the Service

You may use the Service for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service's operation.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service beyond normal usage.
Misrepresent the Service's output as real-time or scientifically verified animal tracking data.

3. Accuracy and Reliability

The kangaroo location data used by the Service is based on publicly known habitats, zoos, and wildlife sanctuaries. It is not real-time tracking data. We make no guarantees that:

A kangaroo is currently present at any listed location.
The distance calculations are precise to any particular standard.
The database of locations is complete or up to date.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, code, and content are the property of Find My Kangaroo. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services including OpenStreetMap Nominatim (geocoding), Google Fonts, and GitHub Pages (hosting). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, Find My Kangaroo and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from reliance on kangaroo location data, failed travel plans to see kangaroos, or disappointment upon arriving at a location and finding no kangaroos present.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Find My Kangaroo and its creators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
